MAFEIP study

The MAFEIP tool aims to monitor the process and outcomes of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA), the initiative launched by the European Commission to tackle the societal challenge of the ageing European population. The partnership’s overall objective is to add, by 2020, two healthy life years (HLY) to the average healthy life span of European citizens. In addition, it pursues a triple win for Europe by seeking to improve the health status and quality of life of European citizens, supporting the long-term sustainability and efficiency of health and social care systems, and enhancing the competitiveness of the EU industry through business and expansion of new markets.
