Digital Economy

The digital economy is sometimes considered synonymous with the internet economy, new economy, or web economy, reflecting its broad scope that extends beyond just business transactions to include the societal changes brought about by the digital revolution. The digital economy encompasses all business, economic, social, governmental, and cultural activities that are supported by the Internet and other digital communication technologies.

Connectivity

The digital economy relies on the connectivity provided by the internet and we help leverage the power of connectivity to drive innovation, efficiency, and growth in the digital era.

Smart government

We work in integration with government organisations to design smart government initiatives, utilising information and communication technology, artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, and harnessing the power of technology to provide more efficient, effective, and citizen-centric services.

Digital economy and society index (DESI)

The DESI measures the progress of European Union (EU) countries towards a digital economy and society. As part of the EU’s strategy to embrace digital transformation, we provide in-depth analysis and insights into the DESI, helping understand and benchmark progress towards a digital economy and society.

We develop indicators, monitoring, and benchmarking tools, and provide our clients with insights into the digitalisation of sectors, governments, industries, and services. We provide the European Commission (EC) with data for the “Broadband price index”, and we officially developed the “Access to e-Health records” indicator.
